Warisco’s Consultants are some of the best in the industry; armed with hands-on experience in system implementation, system certification and system improvement. Our Consultants have unrivalled expertise in food safety, quality, EMS and OH&S certification schemes such as HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, Global G.A.P, BRCGS, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018. We use our expertise to support the firms that are planning to undergo or in the process of certification. We work with our clients, as they walk the journey of certification, by carrying out GAP analysis, documentation, awareness training, implementer or steering committee trainings, system verifications and support with closing off the identified non-conformities during certification audits. In addition, our Consultants inject the much-needed technical expertise by guiding in hazard identification and control measure assessment. We also conduct pre-assessment to gauge the facility’s readiness for certification.

We support small and medium companies who lack or have less sophisticated food safety systems or with limited resources to establish and sustain a sound food risk management plan. We do this through a scheme called Global Food Safety Initiative’s (GFSI’s) Global Markets Programme. The overall objective of this program is to assist these firms to improve market access as they go through a pathway to certification to the GFSI-recognised certification programmes. This is one area that we are giving a lot of focus because we believe that by helping players in this pool, the businesses will be better positioned to access premium markets, manage food safety risks and contribute towards poverty reduction.
