FSSC 22000 Version 6

On 31st March 2023, the Foundation FSSC published Version 6 of the FSSC 22000 scheme.

 The main reasons for the updated version of the FSSC 22000 scheme are:

a)     Integrating the requirements of ISO 22003-1:2022 — Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of food safety management systems,

b)     Strengthening the requirements to support organizations in their contributions to meeting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and

c)     Incorporating feedback as a result of the Version 6 development survey

The first audits to Version 6 will commence from 01 April 2024 onwards.

The journey towards FSSC 22000 Version 6 has begun and we look forward to serving you soon!

THE JOURNEY TO ACHIEVING ISO 22000:2018 CERTIFICATION HAS JUST BEGAN!

 

On 19th June 2018, the much-awaited revised version of ISO 22000 was published. This new version brings with it some new information and requirements. 

In this forum, we will try to summarize some of the new information and requirements:

a)   High Level Structure (HLS): the current standard has adopted the ISO HLS to improve alignment between ISO management system standards. Why is this important? Simple, to permit ease of system integration.

If your organization currently run other ISO systems like ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 or GMP, we can support you as you integrate your existing systems with this new standard and streamline your system management. February 20, 2018 – Today, PECB and Warisco Consulting Services announced a business partnership agreement to provide advanced training courses and professional certifications for individuals and companies. The companies will collaborate to deliver advanced training courses and improve business operations in Kenya. This joint partnership will enable Warisco Consulting Services to provide PECB training courses and management system certification.
