Intentional vis-a-vis unintentional food contamination

Intentional and unintentional food contamination! what is the difference? or do they mean the same thing?

There is a misconception that organizations certified to food safety management systems are able to manage both intentional and unintentional food contamination. This is not true hence the need to understand the differences between these terminologies and how to mitigate risks that are associate with each category.

Our food defense and food safety courses bring into perspective the differences between the two concepts and how to mitigate the risks that are associated with intentional contamination and those that are associated with unintentional contamination.
